MDA Registration Number: GA2503021-58882
Wondaleaf Flat Dressing is an ultra-thin, breathable, and waterproof film dressing that protects superficial or closed wounds while providing gentle compression.
Device Description
Wondaleaf Flat Dressing is a non-invasive, non-resorbable, non-sterile polyurethane film dressing with an adhesive backing, supplied in roll or pre-cut formats, and functions as a mechanical barrier.
Intended Purpose
Wondaleaf Flat Dressing is intended to provide compression for superficial wounds where the dermis has not been breached and may also be used as a secondary dressing or to protect medical devices such as IV cannulas.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged, torn, or shows signs of contamination.
Do not apply directly to open wounds where the dermis has been breached, deep cavity wounds, or third-degree burns.
Do not use on wounds showing signs of clinical infection unless directed by a healthcare professional.
Do not reuse the dressing.
Do not ingest the device.
If redness, rash, itching, blistering, or other signs of skin irritation occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Ensure the skin is clean, dry, and free of oils, lotions, soap residue, or antiseptic solutions before application to promote proper adhesion and reduce the risk of skin irritation.
Use with caution on fragile, sensitive, or compromised skin, including elderly patients or neonates.
Avoid excessive tension during application to reduce the risk of skin trauma or medical adhesive–related skin injury (MARSI).
When removing the dressing, gently peel back slowly and parallel to the skin surface; do not pull upward or against hair growth.
If the dressing adheres to itself during application, do not attempt to separate it, as this may damage the film; discard and use a new piece.
Select an appropriate size to ensure adequate coverage beyond the wound or device site.
Not intended to replace primary wound dressings for wounds requiring absorbent or antimicrobial treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is used to protect superficial or closed wounds and help keep them clean during the healing process. It can also be used as a secondary dressing or to protect medical devices such as an IV cannula.
Yes. The dressing is showerproof and helps protect the wound during showering. There is less risk of water seeping through, as the dressing is ultra-thin.
No. The dressing allows oxygen and moisture vapour through while blocking bacteria and water, helping reduce moisture build-up and maintain a moist healing environment.
It can be uncomfortable if removed incorrectly, just like any other dressing. To reduce discomfort, gently lift one corner and pull the dressing parallel to the skin, stretching it sideways rather than pulling upward. You may also use water to help release the adhesive. For hairy areas, remove slowly and gently in the direction of hair growth, not against it.
Yes. The ultra-thin, flexible design helps the dressing stay in place and move comfortably with joints as it conforms to the skin. For best results, wipe the skin clean, ensure it is dry, and flatten any skin creases before applying.
Wondaleaf Flat Dressing is available in two formats: rolls and pre-cut strips.
The roll format allows you to customize the length to suit your needs.
The 2 m roll is ideal for families and home use.
The 10 m roll is suitable for hospital or long-term use.
The pre-cut strips come in two options:
10 cm × 30 cm—To protect the surgical site, such as post-C-section care.
6 cm × 10 cm (Pack of 5)—A handy pack for everyday wound protection.
Our adhesive is medical grade and that it can stay on for weeks, but for patient safety and hygiene, we strictly recommend changing it every 7 days as per clinical guidelines.
If you experience any discomfort while using Wondaleaf Flat Dressing, please consult your general practitioner or healthcare professional immediately.
We would also appreciate your feedback should you experience any side effects or discomfort.
