• An adhesive base that sticks to the skin comfortably.
Some sizes come with an extra accessory to secure the opening when needed.

Non-Resealable

How it works?
A resealable secondary dressing that lets you replace soiled absorbents without removing the whole dressing. With proper care, the dressing may stay in place for up to 7 days, reducing skin trauma (MARSI) from frequent dressing changes.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Always clean the wound and pouch interior and replace absorbents before fully saturated.
Folding Technique
Our material is soft and flexible yet durable, allowing us to shape the pouch dressing to fit your wound using the folding technique shown in the video below. However, please check the packaging for the recommended wound size coverage.
Keeping the Pouch Clean
To maintain hygiene and support the effectiveness of the dressing:
- Clean the wound bed the same way you would for standard wound care, following your clinician’s instructions.
- Clean the inner pouch using saline or antimicrobial/antiseptic solution if recommended during absorbent changes.
- Gently rinse the outer surface of the pouch with mild soap and water to remove dirt or residue.
Always follow the specific wound-care guidance given by your healthcare professional, as needs may vary by wound type.
What Happens if There is Strikethrough?
Strikethrough usually occurs when the absorbents become fully soaked and exudates begins to seep through the dressing.
- With traditional dressings, a full removal is required, which can risk peri-wound skin damage.
- With Wondaleaf Flat Dressings, you may repair the affected area which allows prolonged use of the pouch dressing without disturbing the intact parts.
Trim
Trim away the part of the film dressing that has come loose or detached.
Clean
Clean and gently dry the area you uncovered.
Patch
Put on a new piece of transparent film dressing to cover that spot.
Wound isolation is maintained without disturbing the rest of the dressing, saving time, reducing cost, and protecting the skin.
⚠️ Note: Patching is not recommended if there is excessive contamination (e.g., feces or urine entering the wound bed).
